He passed away at the U.K. Medical Center in Lexington, KY. on Monday, October 10, 2016 at the age of 52. James had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. He was affliated with the Bear Branch Baptist Church, Bear Branch, KY. James enjoyed listening to music & doing household chores.
James was preceded in death by his parents, 3 special aunts, Sylvania Hensley, Lizzie Crawford & Bertha Roberts & 3 special cousins, Clinton & Sheila Roberts & Elva Westerfield. He leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved brother, Roscoe Roberts & wife, Polly, Georgetown, KY., beloved sister who adored him, Nancy Roberts, Bear Branch, KY., 1 nephew, Kevin Roberts & Michelle, Hazard, KY., 1 niece, Tonya Hall & Edward of Hindman, KY., 4 great nephews, Tyler Miller, Jordan Hall, Dustin & Brayden Roberts, 2 great nieces, Katie & McKenzie Roberts, 5 best friends, Gary Wayne Hacker & Diane, Mable "Skip" Spell, Elisha Hacker & Debbie Hoskins, a very special caregiver, Janet Smith, special cousins, Edna Jackson & Joe, London, KY., Mary & J.D. Hacker, Bear Branch, KY., Wade & Virginia Hoskins, Bear Branch, KY., Bobby Hoskins, Bear Branch, KY., Sherry House & Morris of Manchester, KY. & Sim Crawford & Flora, Cincinncati, OH., 3 special babies, J.D. Hacker, Stella Hoskins & Macey Hacker & James' baby stuffed duck named "Bobby". Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.
