Mrs. Virginia Lee Morgan Whitehead of Essie, KY., was born on August 26, 1940. the daughter of the late, John Morgan & the late, Sarah Morgan. She passed away at her residence on Friday, October 7, 2016 at the age of 76. She was born at Essie, KY the daughter of the late John Morgan and the late Sarah Bowling Morgan. By occupation Virginia had worked at the Mary Breckenridge Hospital for 35 years in the Dietary Department. She enjoyed quilting, going to church, cooking and especially spending time with her family. She was a devoted member of the Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. Virginia was preceded in death by her parents, her loving & devoted husband, Clifford Whitehead, 1 son, Roger Wade Whitehead, 1 daughter, Gina Tipton & 2 brothers, Fred Morgan & Cornelius Morgan & 1 brother-in-law, Claude Amos.
She leaves the following relatives surviving, 2 sons, Roy Lee Whitehead & Carla "Muffy" of Winchester, KY, Randy Whitehead of Essie, KY 1 daughter, Diane Sizemore & Mark of Essie, KY , 1 daughter-in-law, Debbie Whitehead, 1 son-in-law, Rick Tipton, 3 brothers, David Morgan & Fern, Essie, KY., J.C. Morgan & Jean, Essie, KY. & Richard Morgan & Marlene, Essie, KY., 4 sisters, Phronia Hanselman & Tom, Dayton, Oh., Lavernne Amos, Hyden, KY., Ruby Crews & Dave, Dayton, Oh. & Juanita North & Wilburn, Essie, KY., Sister-in-law: Wanda Lee Morgan Mosley, grandchildren, Ralph Shannon Wilder & Victoria, Marcus Sizemore & April, Cory Whitehead, Jessica Whitehead, Maelea Whitehead, Eric Whitehead, Aaron Whitehead, Katie Whitehead-Simpson, Shelia Dawn Blackburn & Kliff Whitehead, 12 Great Grandchildren, 25 nieces & nephews also survive.
