Velma Katherine Horn

Velma Horn, age 68, of Leslie County, KY passed away on Saturday- Sept. 24, 2016 at the Mary BreckInridge ARH Hospital. Velma Was born in Hyden, KY on March 4, 1948 the daughter of the late Bill Howard and the late Viola Farler Howard.  She was a homemaker and housekeeper. Velma enjoyed making crafts, gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents: Bill and Viola, one nephew: Shannon Perry and one niece: Sabrina Adams. Velma leaves surviving the following relatives, her loving and devoted husband: David Charles Horn of Wendover, KY, one  beloved son: Christopher Paden Horn of Atlanta, GA, one brother: Vernon Andrew Howard of Wendover, KY, five sisters: Violet Feltner of Hyden, KY, Vicki Huff of Elizabethtown, KY, Vera Davidson & James of Hyden, KY, Verna Chappell & Harold of London, KY, Vivian Phillips & Charles of Senora, KY, one granddaughter: Autumn Elise Horn , step-grandchildren; Sharmon McClurine, Malic McClurine, Jacden McClurine, Bralon Clark & a host of nieces and nephews and other treasured relatives and friends.

2:00 P.M. -Tuesday- Sept. 27, 2016 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY
VISITATION:
6:00-9:00 P.M. - Monday- Sept. 26, 2016 at the funeral home chapel.

Singleton Cemetery at Wendover, KY
