Janice A. Smith, of Helton, KY., was born on March 22, 1957 in Harlan, KY., the daughter of the late, Denver Roark & the late, Mattie Bell Nantz Roark. She passed away at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. on Friday, September 23, 2016 at the age of 59. Janice was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She was a member of the Bledose Pentecostal Church at Bledsoe, KY. Janice enjoyed chrocheting, reading books & dune buggy riding.
Janice was preceded in death by her loving & devoted parents, her loving & devoted husband, James Glenn Smith, brother, Carlos Roark & sister, Lisa Roark. She leaves the following relatives surviving special nephew, Cameron Wayne Roark, nephews, Michael Joshua Smith & Covey Daniel Smith, special niece, Keisha MaKayla Smith, special uncle, Robert Nantz, aunt, Jean, sister-in-law, Debra Smith, and very special friends, Joyce Strunk & Joanne Nantz. Also a host of special cousins & friends survive.

Friday, September 30, 2016 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
