Shirley J. Roberts

Ms. Shirley Roberts, of Stinnett, KY., daughter of Ida Brock, departed this life on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 59. Shirley was born at Stinnett, Ky on January 23, 1957 the daughter of the late Gillas Roberts and Ida Brock. She was a homemaker and former factory worker in Danville, KY.  Shirley hobbies included traveling on church trips, cooking and hosting dinners, but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was affiliated with the Upper Grassy Branch Pentecostal Church at Essie, KY. & the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church, Asher, Ky. Shirley was preceded in death by her father: Gillas, one brother: Jerry Roberts, Step Father: John Henry Brock, Maternal Grandparents: Lee and Eura Morgan, Paternal Grandparents: Bradley and Rhoda Roberts. She leaves surviving the following relatives: her loving and devoted mother: Ida Brock of Stinnett, KY, one son: Josh Foster of Mobile, AL, two daughters: Crystal Woodyard & D.J. of Mobile, AL. and Tabitha K. Foster of Danville, KY, one brother: Terry Roberts of Stinnett, KY., father of children; Dan Foster, one sister: Sandra Pugh & Rev. John Pugh of Stinnett, KY, one niece: Shanda Osborne, two nephews: Damian Pugh and Ben Pugh, four grandchildren: Kelly, Spencer, Kaylee, and Jordon, and two special aunts: Wilma Roberts and Jean Morgan.
