The Obituary for Mrs. Margaret Phillips Turner

Mrs. Margaret Phillips Turner formerly of Hyden, Ky., passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at her home in Florence, Ky. surrounded by her loved ones.  She was 88 years. Margaret was born at Harlan, Ky. on December 23, 1927, the daughter of the late Hobart Phillips and Vina Eagle. Margaret was a long time resident of Hyden, Ky., having moved to Florence, Ky. in 2008.  She was a homemaker and devout member of the Muncy's Creek Baptist Church, Hyden, Ky.  She was an active participant in the Hyden Senior Citizens and a former member of the "Young At Heart Singers."  Margaret enjoyed listening to traditional Christian hymns and music, word puzzles, and reading--especially her daily Bible devotions.  Margaret Phillips Turner was preceded in death by her parents; her loving and devoted husband; Lloyd Turner, a beloved grandson; Chad Clore, sons-in-law; Ken Clore and John Henry Combs. Mrs. Margaret Phillips Turner is the mother of five treasured daughters; Carolyn Camp and husband, Robert, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Judy Clore of Union, Ky., Deborah Combs of Richmond, Ky., Toni Barrett and husband, Ron, of Florence, Ky., Tammie Schneider and husband, Paul of Cincinnati, Ohio,  the grandmother to nine blessed grandchildren; Cabell Camp, Carson Camp, Carter Camp, Brad Clore and wife, Lindsay, Christopher Combs and wife, Rachel, Dustin Combs and wife, Jessica, Chelsea Barrett, Paula Schneider, Toni Kincaid and husband, Zach, the great-grandmother to Charlotte and Lillian Margaret Camp, Kennedy and Madelyn Clore, Julianna and Jaxen Combs, Tavin Schneider, Liam Kincaid, and also leaves the following siblings surviving; Joann Osborne, Bob Marcum, Sue Mapp, Benny Marcum, Janice Vanzant, sister-in-law; Christine Turner & a host of nieces and nephews.
