Mrs. Claudine Nolan Chappell was born May 23, 1954, at Harlan County, KY., the daughter of the late, Lucy Luster. She departed this life on Sunday, September 4, 2016 at the Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, Ky., at the age of 62. Claudine had been a resident of Leslie County since 1978, coming from Harlan Co., KY. Claudine graduated from Beechfork Elementary in 1969 & was a proud Cardinal. Claudine was a devoted member of the Muncy Creek Holiness Church. She enjoyed attending Church, watching WLJC, electrical repair, sewing, reading the newspaper.
She was preceded in death by her loving & devoted mother, Lucy Luster Napier, loving and devoted husband, Albert Chappell & one brother, Eugene Napier. Survivors include a beloved daughter; Christina Chappell of Stinnett, Ky., 7 siblings, Omus Jermerl Napier, Hickory, NC., Ervin Hughes & Judy, St. Louisville, Ohio, Amy Deacon & Tharon, Mt. Washington, KY, Sondra Dean & Jamie, Pennington Gap, VA., Michael Farmer & Holly, Campbellsville, KY. , Darren West & Margaret, Barbourville, KY., & George Maynard Wilson of Corbin, Ky. along with a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
