THE OBITUARY OF MRS. LINDA SIZEMORE LEWIS

      Mrs. Linda Sizemore Lewis, 87, of Smilax, Ky. was born on June 7, 1929 at Smilax, KY., the daughter of the late, Harmon Sizemore & the late Mallie Lewis Sizemore. She departed this life on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Hazard Appalchian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky.   Linda was a life-long resident of Smilax, KY. By occupation she was a retired store manager for her sister & brother-in-law, Rose & Logan Adams. She was a member of the Smilax Church of Christ, Smilax, KY. Linda enjoyed gardening, quilting & most of all cooking for family & friends.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Willie Lewis, infant son, William Douglas Lewis, daughter, Patricia Gail Lewis, sisters, Ada Lewis & Nellie Murphy & brothers, Elmer & Glen Sizemore. She leaves the following relatives surviving, 4 beloved daughters, Loretta Lankford, Louisville, KY., Charlotte Lewis, Smilax, KY., Sandra Kay Lewis, Smilax, KY. & Kathy Colwell & Denver, Smilax, KY., 1 brother, Bobby Sizemore, Little Leatherwood, KY., 1 sister, Rose Adams, Smilax, KY., 4 grandsons, 1 granddaughter, 8 great-grandchildren & 2 great-great grandchildren. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.

Thursday, September 1, 2016 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
