Norma Jean Collins of London, KY. formerly of Sneedville, TN. was born on April 15, 1949, at Yeaddiss, KY., the daughter of the late, Homer Coots & the late, Cinda Mitchell Coots. She passed away on Thursday, August 25, 2016 at St. Joseph Hospital,  London, KY. at the age of 67. She enjoyed spending time with her family (especially grandchildren). She was affliated with the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, Yeaddiss, KY.

Norma Jean was preceded in death by, parents, former husbands, Johnny Childrers & Jimmy Collins, brother, Arnold Coots & infant brother, Carlos Coots. She leaves the following relatives surviving,1 son, Jimmy Collins & Misty, Powell, TN., 2 daughters, Patricia Hoskins & Lonnie, London, KY. & Cindy Childers, Sneedville, TN., 3 brothers, Homer Jr. Coots & Peggy, Yeaddiss, KY., Odell Coots & Lorene, Yeaddiss, KY. & Arviel Coots, London, KY., 3 sisters, Geraldine Coots, Yeaddiss, KY., Barbara Engle & James, East Bernstadt, KY. & Carolyn Coots & Jack, Slemp, KY.,  8 grandchildren, Brittany Flanigan, Caitlyn Wright, Preston Collins, Abrianna Collins, Jordan Short, Holden Short, Tawana Jones & Justin Childers, 4 great-grandchildren, Brittany Jones, Christian Jones, Damien Childers & Ryley Childers. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
