Russell Mays

Russell Mays, Jr. born July 16, 1982 departed this life on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center, Knoxville, TN. He was 34 years old.  Russell was born in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Russell Mays.  Russell was a self-employed contractor and a resident of East Bernstadt, Ky.  He was avid sports fan & devoted father who enjoyed spending time with his family.  Russell was preceded in death by his grandmother; Faith Mays & grandfather; James Meece.  Mr. Russell Mays, Jr. leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving and devoted parents; Russell Mays, Sr. & wife, Linda of East Bernstadt, Ky, one beloved son; Trenton Mays of East Bernstadt, Ky., one beloved daughter; Victoria Mays of East Bernstadt, Ky., three brothers; Christopher Mays, Jason Mays, Cameron Mays of East Bernstadt, Ky., four sisters; Candy Mays Cooke of Cincinnati, Ohio, Samantha Mays of East Bernstadt, Ky., Jessica Mays of East Bernstadt, Ky.,  Amanda Biggs of Cincinnati, Ohio, paternal grandfather LeRoy Mays & friend, Bessie of Hyden, Ky., maternal grandmother; Anna Meece of Cincinnati, and a host of treasured nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. 1:00 P.M. - Friday - August 12, 2016 at the Bob Fork Holiness Church at Bear Branch, KY
VISITATION:
5:00 p.m. - Wednesday- August 10, 2016 at the church and all day Thursday until funeral hour on Friday.
