Bill Chappell

Bill Chappell, 65 passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2016 at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital, Hyden, KY. He was born at Creekville, KY on Sept. 30 , 1950 the son of the late Burgie Chappell and the late Mary Smith Chappell. Bill spent his formative years in Leslie Co & was a resident of Ohio for a number of years. Bill was employed as a tree trimmer while a resident of Ohio.  Bill had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 5 years.  He enjoyed gardening, hunting, pitching horseshoes and especially spending time with his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Burgie and Mary Chappell, grandparents: Wilson and Martha Holland Chappell, Frank Smith & Delia (Simpson) Smith) one son: Billy Chappell, seven brothers: Caleb "Peanut", Frank Jr., Albert, Marcus, Rufus, Curtis John, and Willie Chappell.
Brother-in Law: James Martin Morgan. He leaves surviving the following relatives, Loving and devoted wife: Jennifer Carr Chappell of Stinnett, KY,  one beloved daughter: Jessica Chappell of Dayton, OH, step-daughter; Todd Jeffery Joseph, step-daughter: Tabitha Joseph of Stinnett, KY, one beloved brother: Hardie Chappell & wife: Joy of Stinnett, KY one belovedsister: Leoma Morgan of Stinnett, KY seven grandchildren: Courtney Kaylynn Frost, Christopher Frost, Cameron Frost, Billy Jr. Chappell, Michael Ryan Chappell, B.J. Chappell, Jacob Wholaver, five step-grandchildren: Landon, Waylon, Allison, Kaylle, and Jeffery Todd, Jr. Bill is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. VISITATION: 12:00 Noon -Monday- August 8, 2016 at the church.

PLACE OF INTERMENT:  Glady Branch Cemetery at Stinnett, KY
