Cathy Jarvis

Cassie Jarvis, age 81 of London, KY, wife of Mike Reese Jarvis, passed away on Saturday, July 30 at Hazard ARH in Hazard, KY.

Along with her loving husband, she leaves behind two sons, Joel Reese Jarvis and wife Treasa of London, KY, Allen Parker and wife Cheryl of Williamsburg, KY; five siblings, Nancy Jackson, Hester Helton, Hubert, Harlan, and Brock Caldwell; two grandsons she raised, Bradley and Elijah Jarvis; four grandchildren, Joel, Jonathan and Rachel Jarvis, and Alivia Parker, plus a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elijah T. & Tishia Saylor Caldwell; four siblings, Lidia, Ruby, Alice, Hardy “H” and two brothers-in-law, Walter and Ed.

She was a nursing assistant with Laurel Heights Home for the Elderly, of the Holiness faith and loved and adored her family and friends.  She will be missed by so many.

Funeral services for Cassie Jarvis will be conducted on Saturday, August 6 at Kelly Rock Community Church in Leslie County, KY at 12:00 p.m. with Garnett Barrett, Ray Napier and Homer Barrett officiating.  Burial will follow in the Phillips Fork Cemetery.  The family will receive friends after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 5 at House-Rawlings Funeral Home in London, KY.
