Barbara Lou Burns

Barbara Lou Burns of Hyden, KY., was born on May 15, 1950 in Hyden, KY., the daughter of the late, Joe Morgan & the late Bonnie Dodson Morgan. Barbara passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 66. She had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, by occupation she was a former CNA for Mary Breckinridge Hospital in Hyden, KY. Barbara was affliated with the Pentecostal Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren,crocheting, fishing & 4-wheeling.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents & son, Kenny Burns, she leaves the following relatives surviving, beloved daughters; Melina Brock & husband, Ballard, Hyden, KY.,  Sherry Burns, Bear Branch, KY., former husband & father of her children, Johnny Burns, Hyden, KY., brother, Kenneth Ray Morgan & wife, Mable, London, KY., sister, Denna Jones, Oneida, KY.,  treasured grandchildren, Cody Brock & wife Kelly, Travis Burns, Selena Burns & Kendra Burns, Kenny, Tony, Treston & Joann, nieces, Miranda & Christy, nephews, Johnny & Joey. Barbara also considered Logan Sizemore a grandchild.  Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Thursday, July 28, 2016 @ 3:00 P.M. at the Lower Middlefork Pentecostal Church, Asher, KY.
