The obituary of Mrs. Sophia Jordan

     Mrs. Sophia Jordan of Osborne Fork Road, Thousandsticks, Ky., born April 10, 1948 departed this life on Sunday, July 17, 2016 at the St.  Joseph Hospital, London, Ky.  She 68 years old.  Sophia was born at Cutshin, Ky., the daughter of the late Lee Baker and Zilpha Causey.  Sophia was a retired restaurant waitress.  She had been a resident of Leslie Co. for the past 24 years having previously resided in Georgia.    Sophia was a faithful member of the Full Gospel Church of Jesus Christ, Smilax, Ky.  She enjoyed working puzzles, dog racing, attending church and most importantly spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Mrs. Sophia Jordan was preceded in death by her parents, former husband and father of children; Jerry McClain, Sr., sisters; Melda Day, Gladys James. Marilyn Faine, Bertha Harris, Beulah Baker, and brother; James C. Hampton.  Mrs. Sophia Jordan leaves the following relatives surviving; beloved daughter; Mary Lee Brown & husband, Robert of Thousandsticks, Ky., two beloved sons; Jerry  McClain of Florida, Jeffery McClain of Kettering, Ohio, one sister; Wanda Causey, six treasured grandchildren; Jimmy Darrell Fouts, Bobby Paul Brown, Stephanie L.
