Joe Morgan

Joe Morgan age 73, husband of Lyda Morgan formerly of Berea, died Thursday July 7, 2016 at his home in Utica, KY.  Joe was a retired Madison County School Bus driver, he was a member of the Holiness Faith and attended the Crestview Holy Sanctuary.  Joe was born in Leslie County to the late Taylor and Eva Baker Morgan, he was preceded in death by his parents, his 2 sons Anthony and Eddie Morgan, his brothers Eugene and Lowell Morgan, and a granddaughter Waynna Napier and grandson Dillon Morgan.

Joe is survived by his wife Lyda Morgan of Utica, his children; Joseph Morgan of Richmond, Brian (Jennifer) Morgan of Utica, Jeff (Sherry) Burton of Morres Hill IN, Robin (Patricia) Burton of Morres Hill IN, Renee’ Morgan Tate (Tim) of Richmond KY, and Teresa Dell (Lanny) Morres Hill IN, a brother Cephus (Mary) Morgan of Essie KY, sisters; Geraldine Collins of Essie KY, Winnie Duff of Chicago IL, Georgia Lamb of Berea, Gewon McKinney of Essie KY, 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. 

Funeral services will be Tuesday July 12, 2016 at 11 am at the Crestview Holy Sanctuary with Bro. Ritchie Howard and Bro. Mark Adams officiating.  Burial will be in the Morgan-Collins Cemetery at Essie KY.  Visitation will be Monday July 11, 2016 at the Crestview Holy Sanctuary after 6 pm.  Lakes Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.  Online condolences at www.lakesfuneralhome.com.
