Billy Joe Day

Billy Joe"Chigger"  Day, was born on September 9, 1948 in Leslie County, KY., the son of the late, Johnny Day & the late, Nellie Lewis Day. He passed away on Friday, July 8, 2016  at his residence at the age of 67. Billy Joe had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, he enjoyed fishing & car racing.

Billy Joe "Chigger" Day was preceded in death by his parents & one sister, Ann Schmidt, he leaves the following relatives surviving, wife, Pam Murrill Day, Hyden, KY., two sons, David Day & Heidi, Warren, Michigan & Joey Day, Cleveland, TN., one daughter, Lacey Day, Wooton, KY., one brother, Hubert Day and wife Pat, Somerset, KY., one sister, Ina Coots, Science Hill, KY., brother-in-law, Al Schmidt,  five grandchildren, Chase Day, Ashley Day, Olivia Day, Alaina Day & Sydney Day, special nephews, Billy, Johnny, Shane, Sammy, Timmy, Jeff, Allen & Hubey & Allen, special nieces, Pamela & Kim, also a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives & friends survive.

Tuesday, July 12, 2016 @ 12:00-3:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, KY.
