Oleta Morgan

Mrs. Oleta "Jackie" Woods Morgan born August 6, 1926 departed this life on Monday, July 4, 2016 at the Norton Audubon Hospital, Louisville, Ky. She was 89 years old.  Oleta "Jackie" Woods Morgan was the widow of Mr. Stanley Morgan. Oleta was born at Knott Co., Ky., the daughter of the late, Clarence Woods & the late Eva Fannin Woods. Oleta was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., she was a member of the Stinnett Church of Christ at Stinnett, KY., By occupation she was a homemaker, business owner & former cook at the Stinnett Elementary School. She enjoyed crocheting, knitting & reading.

Oleta was preceded in death by her parents, her loving & devoted husband, Stanley Morgan, beloved sons, Donald Lynn Bowling & Billy R. Morgan, sister, Olene Bailey, sister-in-law, Freda Roser, & brothers, Denzil Woods & Bill Woods

She leaves the following relatives surviving, brothers, Harold Dean Woods, Louisville, KY., Clarence O. Woods & Barbara, Macon, Georgia & Darrell Woods,  Louisville, KY., sisters, Omeda Holbrook, Harlan, KY., Kathleen Potts, Louisville, KY. & Opalene Roark, Louisville, KY., grandchildren, Donald Ray Morgan, John Houston Morgan & Melissa & Ryan Morgan, great-grandchildren, Madison & Matthew, also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
