Scott Roark

A celebration of the life of Mr. Scott Roark

      Mr. Scott Roark of Asher, Ky., born August 22, 1944 departed this life on Friday, July 1, 2016 at his residence.  He was 71 years of age.  He was born at Beverly, KY the son of the late Gabbard Roark and the late Gracie Brock Roark.  Mr. Scott Roark was a retired heavy equipment operator having worked in the coal industry. He was a member of the Warbranch Full Gospel Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY.  Mr. Roark enjoyed gardening, farming, cattle but he especially enjoyed spending time with his family.  He was preceded in death by his parents Gabbard and Gracie Roark,  three brothers Denzil Roark, Roy Roark and Bob Roark, two sisters: Anna lee Asher and Lena Mae Napier. Surviviors include his loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Bertha Nolan Roark of Asher, KY, two beloved sons: Terry Roark & wife Lisa of Hoskinston, KY, Timothy Roark & wife Sheila of Thousandsticks, KY, one beloved  daughter: Lena  R. Livingston & husband Mike of Locust Grove, GA, one brother: Frank Roark of Manchester, KY, five grandchildren: Savannah Ann Livingston of Locust Grove, GA, Michael Scott Livingston of Locust Grove, GA, Timothy Trenton Roark of Thousandsticks, KY, Heather Danielle Joseph of Hoskinston, Ky, Jake Livingston of Simi Valley, CA. 1:00 p.m. - Wednesday - July 6, 2016 at the Brock Cemetery at Warbranch, KY
Visitation:
6:00 p.m. - Tuesday- July  5, 2016 at the New Hope Community Church at Warbranch, KY
7:00 p.m. Celebration of Life Service at the New Hope Community Church.

Place of Interment:
Brock Cemetery at Warbranch, KY
