Otis Nantz

Otis Nantz of London, KY., formerly of Leslie County, was born on November 11, 1929, he passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2016 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 86. He was born at Hoskinston, KY the son of the late Onzie Nantz and the late Mattie Howard Nantz. By occupation he was a retired Coal Miner and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. Otis was affiliated with the Church of God. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginsenging, bluegrass music and especially spending time with his grandchildren and other family members. Otis was preceded in death by his parents: Onzie and Mattie, sister: Attie Williams, brothers: Earl Nantz, Elmer Nantz, Burley Lawson, grandson: Homer Henry Nantz, son-in-law: Bruce Couch . He leaves surviving the following relatives: Loving and devoted wife: Winnie Muncy Nantz of London, KY, six sons: Homer Nantz of London, KY, Wayne Nantz & Tina K. of Lafayette, TN, Isaac Nantz & Tina Marie of London, KY, David Nantz & Lori of Minnesota, Billy Nantz of Minnesota, Charles Earl Nantz & Christy of London, KY, three daughters: Joyce Hoskins & David of London, KY, Marcella Dugger & Ray of London, KY and Jean Couch of London, KY, one brother: Claude Nantz of Sparta, KY and one sister: Ellen Nantz of Stinnett, KY.
