THE OBITUARY OF MRS. FREDA NANCE WELLS
Mrs. Freda Nance Wells born April 19, 1926 departed this life on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. She was 90 years old. Freda Nance Wells was born at Hyden, KY the daughter of the late James Calvin Nance and the late Ora Maggard Nance. Freda Nance Wells was a retired merchant having worked at the family owned Wells General Store and she taught school for a few years. Freda Nance Wells was a devout and devoted member of the Wooton Baptist Church and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County, KY. She enjoyed quilting, gardening, cooking and most importantly spending time with her family. Mrs. Freda Nance Wells was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers; James Nance, Fred Nance & Thomas Nance. Mrs. Freda Nance Wells leaves the following relatives surviving; her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Burley Wells of Wooton, KY, beloved son: Larry K. Wells & wife; Betty of Wooton, KY, two beloved daughters: Patricia Wells Clark & Michael of Moscow, OH, and Karen Sue Wells of Wooton, KY, eight grandchildren: Anthony Wells, William Kent Wells & wife; Valerie, Jessica Caldwell & husband; Kent, Byron Clark, Joshua Clark & wife; Tamara, Wesley Clark & wife: Holly, Stevie McDaniel and Shaun McDaniel. Freda is also survived by 19 great grandchildren: Seth, Cynthia, Alona, Sadie, Savannah, Eavan, Eiley, Cashil, Caysen, Avery, Ellis, Griffin, Benjamin, Caleb, Olivia, Noah, Allie, Bobby, Abigail and a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
