      Mrs. Rita Faye Carroll Mitchell, 54, of Yeaddiss, KY, born September 9, 1961 departed this life on Friday, May 6, 2016 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY.  She was born at Hyden, KY., the daugher of the late Clayton Carroll & Edna Baker Carroll. Rita Faye   was a homemaker & caregiver. She enjoyed basketball, working in her flower garden, & spending time with her granddaughter. Rita was a devoted member of the Persimmon Fork Church of God in Jesus' Name & had been a life-long resident of Leslie County.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Brother: Harold, Nephew: Clayton Paul Carroll. Rita is survived by her Loving & Devoted Husband: Micheal L. Mitchell of Yeaddiss, KY, 2 Beloved  Daughters: Jessica Miranda Mitchell of Yeaddiss, KY & Rita Michelle Adams of Hazard, KY, 1 Brother: Clayton Jr. Carroll & Kathy of Smilax, KY, 3 Sisters: Brenda Morgan & Bill of Hyden, KY, Elsie Payton & Robert of Indiana, Crystal Coots & Earnest of Smilax, KY, 1 treasured Grand-daughter: Brooklyn Miranda Faith Adams, 7 treasured nieces and nephews: Ishmael Ray Carroll, Christopher Jason Carroll, Earnest Dakota Coots, Matthew Shane Coots, Sherry Renae Pennington, Adeana Marie Stewart, and Tasha Crowder, 6 great nephews, 5 great nieces, as well as a host of other treasured and loved family and friends.
