Mrs. Esther Collins Stidham of Wooton, KY., was born at Jason, KY., on September 22, 1930, the daughter of the late, Floyd Collins & the late, Mallie Bowling Collins. Esther passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2016 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 85. Esther was a life-long resident of Leslie County, by occupation she worked for Frontier Nursing Service as a cook & in housekeeping. She was member of the Wooton Baptist Church at Wooton, KY., for 40 years. Esther enjoyed spending time with her family, walking & riding 4-wheelers.
Esther was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Charles Stidham, one brother, John Henry Collins, three sisters, Sophie, Alice & Della & a special nephew, John Henry Sizemore
She is survived by one beloved son, Jimmy Stidham & wife, Janet, Wooton, KY. one beloved favorite granddaughter, Miranda "Susie" Stidham Fugate & husband, Bracky, Wooton, KY., one great-granddaughter, Eden Hope Fugate,Wooton, KY., two sisters, Goldie Collins Butterfield, Hyden, KY. & June Nantz, Hyden, KY., nieces, Mallie, Judy, Helen & Alice Lee, nephews, Johnny, Bill & Floyd Jr., special great-great-nephew & prayer warrior friend, Andrew Farmer, special friends, Mike Melton & Tina Fugate. Also a host of great-nieces & nephews, cousins & other relatives & friends survive.

Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
