THE OBITUARY OF MR. J.B. KILBOURNE
Mr. J.B. Kilbourne of Wolfe Creek Road, Wooton, Ky., born March 16, 1944 departed this life on Friday, April 22, 2016 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky, at the age of 72 years old. He was born in Leslie County, KY the son of the late Dave Kilbourne and the late Rhoda Coots Kilbourne. By occupation he was a retired coal miner having worked at Whitaker Coal Company for 31 years. J.B. enjoyed fishing, with his grandchildren, riding 4-wheelers, and especially spending time with his family. He was affiliated with the Big Fork Church of God and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County. J. B. was preceded in death by his parents: Dave and Rhoda Kilbourne, Siblings: Rhonda Kilbourne, Joyce Robertson, Kerry Kilbourne, Ruth Kilbourne, Johnny Kilbourne and Mary Ann Kilbourne. He leaves surviving his loving and devoted wife whom he married on May 28, 1966, Christine Callahan Kilbourne of Wooton, KY, one daughter: Tracy Hamilton & Benny of Wooton, KY, five sons: Mark Kilbourne of Wooton, KY, David Kilbourne & Rebecca of Avawam, KY, James Callahan & Kathy of Wooton, KY, Jeffery Robert Kilbourne of Wooton, KY, Christopher Kilbourne & Rebecca of Bledsoe, KY, one sister: Nora Van Dusen of Michigan, five grandchildren: Sasha Combs, Lakisha Holbrook, Andrew Kilbourne, Tyler Kilbourne, Noah Kilbourne, three great grandchildren: Keely Combs, Aubrey Combs and Serenity Coots. J. B. is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends. A special thanks to a special friend Rev. Brian Overbee.
