Arnold Gibson

Mr. Arnold Ray Gibson born January 30, 1930, departed this life on Friday, April 15, 2016 in Cold Springs, KY.  He was 86 years old.  Arnold was born in Colson - Letcher County, Kentucky, the son of the late Willard Gibson and Susie McCray Gibson.  He was a retired employee of General Motors and had been a resident of Campbell County, Ky., for the past 65 years.  Arnold was a member of the Baptist Church.  He was an active member of the Newport, Ky. Masonic Lodge # 358 & the Alexandria, Ky.,  Masonic Lodge # 152.   Arnold enjoyed fishing, playing cards & was an avid reader of Westerns.  He attended the K.H.S.A.A. boys basketball "Sweet Sixteen" tournament for a number of years consecutively, however his greatest joy was spending time with his family.  Mr. Arnold Ray Gibson was preceded in death by his parents; siblings; Claude, Maggie, Edna, Julia, Lloyd, Lina, Raymond, Hazel, Albert Tunnin, Lola, & Florence Allene.  Mr. Arnold Ray Gibson leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving and devoted wife of 51 years, Louise Gay Gibson of Cold Springs, Ky.,  one beloved son; Ray Gibson & wife, Lisa of Cold Springs,  Ky. one beloved daughter, Lori Tomlinson of Fort Thomas, Ky., two brothers; Walter Russell Gibson & wife, Eyvonne, of Colson, Ky., Edsel Lynn Gibson & wife, Judy of Colson, Ky., one sister; Ruth Wynn of Dayton, Ohio, two treasured granddaughters; Christy Gibson of Florida & Julia Ray Tomlinson of Fort Thomas, Ky., along with a host of other relatives and friends.TIME AND PLACE OF FUNERAL: 11:00 a.m. - Monday - April 18, 2016 at the Sizerock Baptist Church, Sizerock, Ky.OFFICIATING MINISTERS: Rev.
