Pearl "Snubnose" Asher

Mr. Pearl "Snubnose" Asher,  of 4421 Leeco Rd- Hyden, KY., was born on April 3, 1926 in Hyden, KY., the son of the late, Richard Asher & Lucy Hensley Asher. He departed this life on Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at his residence at the age of 89. Pearl was a life-long resident of Leslie County. He had lived in Florida for 12 years. He was a retired coal miner & welder for steel fabrication. Pearl served honorably in the U.S. Air-Corps and was airborne during his distinguished service in World War II.  He was commissioned as  a Kentucky Colonel.

Pearl was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Eleanor Asher, brothers, Jack, J.B., Robert & Walter Asher & sisters, Rosie Collett, Helen Asher & Betty Nantz

He leaves the following relatives surviving, loving & devoted wife, Catherine V. Sunday, March 27, 2016 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Bob Fork Holiness Church, Bear Branch, KY.

INTERMENT:
Asher-Howard Cemetery, Hyden, KY.
VISITATION:
Friday, March 25, 2016 @ 5:00 P.M. until time of funeral on Sunday at the Church.
