Obituary for Patricia Ann Hoskins Deaton, July 14, 1941 – February 3, 2016.

Patricia Ann Hoskins Deaton of Lexington, Kentucky, was born on July 14, 1941, at Asher, Kentucky. She departed this life on February 3, 2016, at the age of 74 years, 6 months and 20 days.   Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Carl Hoskins and Lela Howard Hoskins and one sister, Sandra Kay Hoskins Brock.   She is survived by her husband, William Deaton, her son, Jason Deaton, one brother, Robert Hoskins, and a host of nieces and nephews, relatives, and treasured friends.

Pat was a graduate of Leslie County High School and Morehead State University and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Kentucky. She worked as a teacher, speech therapist, and Fayette District Court Clerk. She was a lifelong Methodist and attended Lower Beech Fork United Methodist Church, Daybreak Community Church, and Christ United Methodist Church. She loved her family, her cats, and the University of Kentucky football and basketball teams.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 6, 2016, from 11-1 PM at the Lower Beech Fork United Methodist Church in Mozelle, Kentucky with services to follow, Pastor Chuck Cooper, Pastor Randy Maynard and Pastor Lyndon Barger officiating. Interment will be at the Hoskins Family Cemetery at Stinnett, Kentucky. The family suggests that donations be made to the Lower Beech Fork United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
