The Obituary for Covy Feltner

Covy Feltner of Hyden, KY., was born on August 21, 1936 in Perry County, KY., the son of the late, Jay Feltner & Bertha Feltner. He departed this life at the Mary Breckinridge-ARH Hospital in Hyden, KY. on Sunday, January 10, 2016 at the age of 79. Covy was a life-long resident of Leslie County. Covy was retired from Frontier Nursing Service & Mary Breckinridge Hospital  where he was employed  53  years with distinguised service as an assistant Dietary Manager.   He was a member of the Hyden Baptist Church in Hyden, KY. & he enjoyed fishing, crafts, scrapbooking, traveling & especially spending time with his family.  

Covy Feltner was preceded in death by his parents & sisters, Mary Hoskins, Anna Lee Oliver & Vadas Feltner.

He leaves the following relatives surviving, his loving & devoted wife, Maggie Feltner, Hyden, KY., 2 beloved sons, Johnny Jay Feltner & Marilyn, Hazard, KY. & Jesse Campbell & Brooklyn, Hyden, KY., 2 belvoved daughters, Mary Martha Feltner, Hazard, KY. & Bertha Ann Feltner, Richmond, KY., 5 grandchildren, Michael Smith, & Miranda, Jonathan Feltner & Kandice, Robbie Riley, Destiny Feltner & Henry Jesse "Hank" Campbell & 3 great-grandchildren, Trey Smith, Reese Smith & Allison Smith. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive.

Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
