Eulene Causey

Mrs. Eulene Causey passed away at the Hyden Health & Rehab Center, Hyden, KY. on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at the age of 85. She was born on September 5, 1930 at Harlan, KY the daughter of the late Claude Maggard and the late Beatrice Hooker Maggard. By occupation Eulene was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, flower gardening, and most of all being involved in the lives of her family. She was a devoted member of the Hurts Creek Church of Christ and had been a life long resident of Leslie County. Eulene was preceded in death by her parents: Claude & Beatrice Maggard, her loving and devoted husband: Homer Causey,  one son: Harold Causey, two sisters: Doris Bowling & Janice Coots, and one brother: Raymond Maggard. She leaves surviving the following relatives: one son: Larry & (Ruby) Causey of Dry Ridge, KY, three daughters: Carol & (Dave) Stecht of Morning View, KY, Bea & (Tom) Jump of Wooton, KY, Connie Selm of Independence, KY, one daughter-in-law: Janice Causey, Nancy, KY., two brothers: Ed Maggard of  Wooton, KY and Hubert Maggard of Hamilton, OH, one  sister: Caludette & (Jim) Rust of Hamilton, OH, eight grandchildren: Glinda & (Mark) Mathis, Kessia Causey, Carol & (Jason) Stewart, David & (Lisa), Cathy Guerra (Angel), Tara Hager (Justin "Joe"), Ben Causey, & Josh Causey. Eulene is also survived by 8 Great Grandchildren and a host of other treasured family and friends.
