The Obituary For Gracie Ann Simpson


Gracie Ann Simpson, 50, of Warbranch, KY., went to her Heavenly home to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday, December 3, 2015 from the University of Kentucky Hospital with her family by her side. Gracie was born on June 11, 1965. She was a devoted member of the Dryfork Pentecostal Church in Helton, Kentucky and lived an exemplary life following the principles outlined in Matthew 6:24. “No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money. She enjoyed crafting, decorating, 4 wheeling, cooking out, boating, & spending time with her family and friends. Gracie Ann Simpson was preceded in death by her father, Roy Roark, her Maternal Grandparents, Lewis & Betty Shepherd, Paternal Grandparents, Gabbard & Gracie Roark, & Uncles; Denzil Roark & Bobby "Cooner Bob" Roark.Those left to celebrate her life are her Mothers, Jean Shepherd Roark & Mollie Simpson of Warbranch, KY., husband, Gary L. Simpson of Warbranch, KY., son, Roy Jordan Simpson of Lexington, 2 Brothers-In-Law Michael Simpson and Martha of Warbranch, KY., & Brian Simpson & Carol of Asher, KY., three sisters, Betty Mosley & Darrell of Warbranch, KY., Donna Roark of Monticello, KY., & Jamie Simpson of Lexington, KY., 3 nephews, Shawn Simpson, Todd Simpson, & Cody Mosley, 2 nieces, Ashley Baker & Molly Abner, & 1 great-niece Alleeah Mosley, special friends, Lena Livingtson, Melissa Phipps, Lottie Brock, Lisa Roark, MaryRose Matthews, Barbara Hoskins, & Bobbie Roark.
