Denver Morgan

Denver Ray " Denny" Morgan, born December 3, 1957 departed this life on Friday, November 20, 2015 at the St. Joseph Hospital Hospice Care in Lexington, Ky.  He was 57 years old.  Denny was born in Hazard, Ky., the son of Denver & Christine Ratliff Morgan.  Denny spent his formative years in Cincinnati, Ohio and had been a resident of Nicholasville, Ky., for the past 18 years.  He had been employed in the manufacturing of automotive wiring for Toyota.  Denny believed in the Church of Christ.  He enjoyed fishing as a hobby.  Denny had a deep passion & love for music and was a very talented musician.  He played both the guitar and harmonica.  Denver Ray "Denny" Morgan was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Floyd & Betty Morgan, maternal grandparents; John & Dona Johnson Ratliff.  Mr. Denny Ray "Denny" Morgan leaves the following relatives surviving; his loving and devoted parents; Denver & Christine Ratliff Morgan of Nicholasville, Ky., one beloved son; Denver John Morgan of Utich, Ky., two beloved daughters; Jennifer Short & Emily Morgan, both of Cincinnati, Ohio, one sister; Regina Bernard & husband, John, of Nicholasville, Ky., four treasured grandchildren; Tegan Recker, Taryn Recker, Eli Short, Denver Lewis, & a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.  

TIME AND PLACE OF SERVICE: Graveside service 2:00 P.M. - Tuesday - November 24, 2015 at the Hurricane Cemetery, Hyden, Ky.

VISITATION: 1:00 p.m. - 2:00 p.m. - Tuesday - November 24, 2015 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky.

PLACE OF INTERMENT: Hurricane Cemetery, Hyden, Ky.
