Forester Asher

?Mr. Forester Asher born June 8, 1924 departed this life on Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, Ky. He was 91 years old. Forester was born at Owl's Nest, Hyden, Ky., the son of the late Bryant Asher & Cordia Bowling. Forester was a World War II Veteran having served honorably in the United States Army. He was a retired coal miner having worked for over 27 years. Forester was a member of the Holiness Church and was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, & most importantly spending time with his family. Mr. Forester Asher was preceded in death by his parents, his loving and devoted wife; Zilpha Howard Asher, one beloved daughter; Taronda Kaye Asher, and a host of brothers and sisters. Mr. Forester Asher leaves the following relatives surviving; loving and devoted daughter; Carol J. Fields & husband, Charlie of Hyden, one treasured grandson; Terry Fields and wife, Bobbi J. of Hyden, Ky., three great grandchildren; Asia Fields, Hannah Sizemore & husband, Brendan Jordan Barger & husband, Harrison, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

1: 00 p.m. - Monday - November 23, 2015 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home Chapel, Hyden, Ky.

6:00 - 9:00 P.M. - Sunday - November 22, 2015 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, Ky.

PLACE OF INTERMENT:
Forester Asher Cemetery, Hyden, Ky.

PALLBEARERS: Mickey R. Howard, Charlie Fields, Terry Joe Fields, Jamie Bray, Lawrence R. Bray, & Brendan Sizemore.
