The Obituary for Christine Wells Christine Wells of Bremen, KY, formerly of Smilax, KY was born on June 7, 1934 in Hyden, KY. She passed away on Friday, November 6, 2015 at the Baptist Health, Madisonville, KY at the age of 81. Christine had been a lifelong resident of Leslie County, KY with the exception of the last three years where she lived in Bremen, KY. By occupation she was a homemaker. Christine was a faithful & devoted member of the Smilax Church of Christ at Smilax, KY., She enjoyed quilting, puzzles, reading, & spending time with her family. Christine was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her children, Gillis Fields, 2nd husband, Carl Wells, son, Carl Jim Fields, brother, Marcus Howard, grandchildren, Christine Caudill & Mark Henry Caudill. She is survived by her sons, Gillis Fields Jr. & Wilma of Smilax, KY & Herman Kenneth Fields of Smilax, KY, Daughter, Ann Caudill & Felix of Bremen, sister, Edith Asher of Hyden, KY, Special sister-in-law, Katherine Wells of Smilax, KY., five grandchildren, John Fields, Glen Caudill, Sabrina Jane Wells, Steve Fields, Kaylee Fields, & Brandon Fields, 6 great grandchildren, Blake Caudill, Jarred Fields, Samantha Hoskins, Summer Vance, Bethany Fields, & Brinley Fields, & great great grandchild, Jaden Allen Fouts. Also a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives & friends survive.
