The Obituary for Gracie Hamilton Gracie Hamilton of Hyden, Ky., was born on August 30, 1937 at Smilax, KY., the daughter of the late Albert Wells & Pearlie Fields Wells. She passed away at her residence on Sunday, November 1, 2015 at the age of 78. Gracie was a life-long resident of Leslie County, by occupation she was a homemaker & owner & operator of Mountain Manor Restaurant at Wooton, KY. She was a member of the Cornettsville Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, cooking, sewing & playing golf. Gracie was preceded in death by her parents, loving & devoted husband, Mervin Hamilton & 3 sisters, Rebecca Turner, Sadie Morgan & Kathleen Wells. She leaves the following relatives surviving, 1 son, Mervin Anthony "Tony" Hamilton & Pam Brock, Hyden, KY., 2 daughters, Sandra Kilgore & Thomas, Fletcher, N.C. & Vanessa Couch & Rod, Hyden, KY., 4 brothers, Albert Wells, Jr. & Ruth, Hoskinston, KY., Paul Wells & Megan, Stanton, KY., Donnie Wells & Angie, Wooton, KY. & David Wells & Connie, Hazard, KY., 3 sisters, Lucy Doll, MIlford Ohio, Christine Bowling & Vernon, Connersville, Indiana & Marie Banks, Somerset, KY., 7 grandchildren, Tara Kilgore-Parker, Lyndsey Smith, Kamryn Holland, Makayla Couch, Tanner Hamilton, Tucker Hamilton & Jaggar Brock 4 great-grandchildren, Grayson Pedroza, Jaxon Hamilton, Jace Smith & Cambree Holland. Also a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive.
