The obituary of Carol Etta Napier Collett, River Road - Hyden, Ky. born October 31, 1956 departed this life on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center. She was 58 years old. Carol Etta was born in Hyden, Ky the daughter of Merida Napier and the late Frances Begley Napier. She was a medical transcriptionist and had been employed by Dr. Prater's Medical Office, Hazard, Ky. She enjoyed bird watching, decorating, gardening and especially spending time with her family and friends. Carol Etta was preceded in death by her beloved mother: Francis Begley Napier, her loving and devoted husband: Ricky Collett, and one nephew: Brandon Napier. Survivors include two sons: Ricky D. Collett & fiance, Lisa Begley and Jeremiah Collett of Dryhill, Ky., and her beloved father, Merida Napier of Hyden, Ky., four brothers: Larry Napier of Hyden, KY, Donnie Napier & Donna of Indiana, Kenny Napier & Faye of London, KY and Dennis Napier & Ruby of Tekonsha, Michigan, special friends: Hilda & Curtis Asher, Polly Jean and Ray Napier. Carol Etta is also survived by a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
