William A. Napier

William A. Napier, 64, passed away on June 14, 2015. He was born in Hyden, Kentucky on August 12, 1950. Bill proudly served in the U.S. Army and the National Guard. He retired from AT&T. In his free time, Bill could be found hunting or golfing. He was a kind and generous man with a big heart and will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Bill was preceded in death by his loving wife, Novella "Nellie" Napier; father, Willie Napier; and mother, Erma Dykes. He will be deeply missed by his children, Daniel (Jena) Napier, Regina (Jeremiah) Gaspar, Patricia (Richard) Hemmerlein, Joann Napier; mom, Maggie Napier; siblings, David (Sally) Dykes, Elizabeth Dean, Cheri (Tom) Greschner, Gwen Prem, Angela Michaels, Glen Johnson, Dean (Annette) Johnson, Scott (Jill) Johnson, Ann (Coy) Sammons; grandchildren, Austin, Kyle, Travis, Logan, Alexis, Kayla, Daniel, Andrew, Aiden; sister-in-law, Connie Donatelli; best friends, Tony Molea, Gene Williams, Larry Ward. Family and friends may call on Wednesday, June 17, 2015 from 4-8 p.m. at NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME, 131 N. Canton Rd., Akron, where funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. O. Homer Burket officiating.
