Joan Moses

Joan Moses, age 68, of MacBennett Drive, Williamsburg, Kentucky passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at Jellico Community Hospital in Jellico, Tennessee. She was born on February 21, 1947 to the late George Hoskins and Mary (Barrett) Hoskins. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Truman Moses; brothers, Orville Hoskins and Sam Hoskins; sister, Blanche Roark and brother- in- law, Randy Roark. She is survived by three sons, Stephen Centers (wife Marjorie) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Shane Centers of Florida, and Shannon Moses of Williamsburg, Kentucky; three grandchildren, Cody Bramlett. Shawn Michael Moses, and Shayna Sharpless; eight sisters, Janet Estep of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Minnie Fern Caldwell (Kenneth) of Stinnett, Kentucky, Carolyn Collette (John) of Stinnett, Kentucky, Vanda Rogers (Chet) of Dayton, Ohio, Velma Hoskins of Corbin, Kentucky, Linda Mays (Harold) of Williamsburg, Kentucky, Geri Taylor (Jack) of Williamsburg, Kentucky and Audrey Jones (Floyd) of Williamsburg, Kentucky; special companion, Diamond; many nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing. Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral hour Thursday, April 30, 2015 at Croley Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April 30, 2015 at the Croley Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Billy Carpenter and Rev. Jimmy McKiddy officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Flat Creek Cemetery in Leslie County, Marcum, Kentucky under the direction of the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
