THE OBITUARY OF MR. SAMPS "Ardill" CALDWELL, JR. Mr. Samps "Ardill" Caldwell Jr., age 81, of Warbranch, KY passed away Friday, April 17, 2015 at his residence. Mr. Caldwell was born on March 14, 1934 to the union of the late Samps Caldwell Sr. & Nancy Roark. Ardill was a life long resident of Leslie County, retiring as coal miner. He was a member of the Dry Fork Holiness Church at Helton, KY. Samps enjoyed in his past time gardening and spending time with his family. Mr. Samps "Ardill" Caldwell Jr. is preceded in death by his loving and devoted wife of 54 years Ethel Brock Caldwell. Parents: Samps Caldwell Sr. & Nancy Roark Caldwell. Brothers: Homan, Richmond, Forrester & Wade. Sisters: Susie, Myrtle & Mary Belle. Daughter: Marilyn Kay. Grandsons: Jamie & Ethan. He leaves the following surviving to mourn his passing Brother: Chester & Shirley Caldwell of Hyden, KY. Two Daughters: Georgia Lee & Roy Napier of Warbranch, KY & Bobbie & Lonnie Roark of Warbranch, KY. Four Sons: Grant & Velma of Sadieville, KY, Chester & Gelania of Warbranch, KY, Randy & Misty of Stinnett,KY, & Vic & Delilah of Bledsoe, KY. 17 Grandchildren: Dennis Roy, Franky Wayne, Shannon, Rodney, Shauna, Johnenna, Misty, Gabriel, Dianne, Nicholas, Nakelle, Kayden, Clifton, Cheston, Stanley, Doshie & Jenna. 20 Great Grandchildren: Makenna, Taylor, Emily, Brenton, Shelby Lee, Scarlett, Little Grant, Chandler, Gracen, Morgan, Jared, Kylie, Mercedes, Mariah, Blake, Carson, Deziree, Colton, Isabella & Sophia. Funeral Service for Mr. Samps "Ardill" Caldwell Jr. will be conducted on Monday April 20, 2015 at 2:00PM at the Dry Fork Holiness Church, Helton, KY with Cammie "Bo" Caldwell, Roy Napier, Roscoe Asher & Special Speaker Clifton Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Caldwell Family Cemetery, Warbranch, KY. Visitation will begin on Sunday April 19, 2015 at 6:00PM at the Church.
