The obituary of Mr. Freddie Lewis Officiating Minister: Rev. Larry Lewis Mr. Freddie Lewis of Yeaddiss, Ky., born November 10, 1954, departed this life on Friday, April 3, 2015 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, KY at the age of 60 years. He was the son of the late Willie Lewis & Nannie Fields Lewis. By occupation he was a retired surface miner having worked for Nally & Hamilton. Freddie was a life long residence of Leslie County and was affiliated with the Beatty Church of God in Christ Jesus at Yeaddiss, KY. His hobbies included drawing, painting, wood working & spending time with his family. He was also an avid Kentucky Basketball fan. Freddie along with his wife Sue were foster parents for over 60 children in need. Mr. Freddie Lewis is preceded in death by his parents: Willie & Nannie Fields Lewis and Sister: Loretta Asher. Survivors include his loving and devoted wife: Sue Lewis of Yeaddiss, Ky. 5 Sons: Calvin Lewis & Nikki of Yeaddiss, KY, Jacob Lewis & Andrea of Nicholasville, KY, Gabe Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, Jose Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY & Christopher Lewis of London, KY. 8 Daughters: Amanda Mosley & Beau of Henderson, KY, Abril Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, Azul Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, Lily Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY, Kyleigh Lewis of Yeadiss, KY, Leanna Conway of Lexington, KY, Saprina Storie of Lexington, KY. & Lyn Le of Cynthiana, KY; 5 Brothers: James Lewis & Sue of Florida, Charles & Susie of Michigan, Larry & Margie Lewis of Yeaddiss, Ky, Micheal & Sandy Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY & Jimmy Mary Lewis of Yeaddiss, KY. 3 Sisters: Janette Joseph of Irven, KY, Wanda & Donnie Vickers of Yeaddiss, KY & Brenda Daniels of Buckhorn, KY. 7 Grandchildren: Isabella Bevins, Boston Mosley, Callie Lewis, Khloe Lewis, Gracie Lewis, Unique & Mystique Conway. He is also survived by a host of foster children, nieces, nephews & other relatives and friends. Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday - April 7, 2015 at 2:00p.m. @ Beatty Church of God in Christ Jesus @ Yeaddiss, KY with Rev. Larry Lewis officiating, Interment will follow in the Nannie Lewis Family Cemetery in Myra Branch at Yeaddiss, KY, the following will serve as pallbearers: Beau Mosley, Gabe Lewis, Calvin Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Roger Joseph & Jose Lewis.
