Alpha Estridge

Alpha Estridge, 87, of Crossville, TN passed away on March 26, 2015. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Crossville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will follow at 7:00 with Rev. Gene Burgess officiating. Alpha was born on May 29, 1927 to Joseph Roosevelt and Nancy Ann Miniard in Greasy Creek, KY. She enjoyed working in both her vegetable garden and flower gardens. Alpha was Grandma to everyone. Loved her family and animals. Enjoyed watching Kentucky Wildcats Basketball and other sports. Alpha is survived by: Son: Felix J. Estridge (Leshia); Daughters: Kathleen Davis (Jerry), Linda Bowles; Grandchildren: Greg Davis (Lori), Kristy Sheffield, Shawn Sheffield, Scott Estridge (Summer), Matthew Estridge (Nikki), June Montgomery; Six Great Grandchildren; Brother: William R. Miniard; Sister: Thelma May Jackson. She was preceded in death by: Parents: Joseph and Nancy Ann Miniard; Husband: John Estridge; Son: Kenny Estridge; Daughter: Margaret L. Farmer; Brothers: John Miniard, Murphy Miniard, Major Miniard; Sister: Alma Miniard. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: 2:00 p.m Tuesday-March 31, 2015 at the Miniard Family Cemetery at Greasy Creek Rd.-Big Laurel, KY. OFFICIATING MINISTER: Rev.
