The obituary of Ms. Rose Hoskins Officiating Ministers: Russell Baker & Mack Lewis Ms. Rose Hoskins, age 65, of 733 Meeting House Branch Road, Wooton, Ky., born November 24, 1949 departed this life on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the University of Ky Medical Center in Lexington, Ky. Rose was born in Wooton, KY, the daughter of the late Spence Hoskins and the late Snova Stidham. She was a life-long resident of Leslie County other than living short periods of time in Harlan and Florida. She was affiliated with the Church of Christ and enjoyed her occupation as a Sav-A-Lot employee. She also enjoyed spending time with her nieces nephews and family & being around other children & people she encountered at work. Ms. Rose Hoskins was preceded in death by parents; brothers: Willie, Hughie, Omato Hoskins, Shade Hoskins and sister: Sally Simpson. Ms. Rose Hoskins leaves the following relatives surviving:loving and devoted brother: Henry Hoskins & Betty of Wooton, KY and sister: Grace Stidham of Wooton, KY. A host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive. FUNERAL: 2:00 p.m. - Sunday, March 22, 2015 at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home in Hyden, KY.
