The Obituary for Mrs. Hattie Gross Hendrix Officiating Minister: Harold Turner Mrs. Hattie Gross Hendrix, of Hyden, KY., was born on August 18, 1932 at (Baker Fork), Yeaddiss, KY., the daughter of the late, Rev. John L. Gross & the late Maggie Joseph Gross. She passed away on Sunday, March 15, 2015 at the Greg & Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center, Hazard, KY. at the age of 82. Hattie was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., she was a homemaker & a member of the Church of Christ. Hattie was preceded in death by, parents, loving & devoted husband, Lee Hendrix, one beloved daughter, Janice Hendrix Couch, one treasured granddaughter, Bridget Hendrix & a host of brothers & sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving, 2 sons, Larry Hendrix & Dorothy Gail, Wooton, KY. & Lonnie Hendrix & Kay, Hyden, KY., 1 daughter, Jewel Hendrix, Hyden, Ky., 1 sister, Mary Maggard & Omer, Cutshin, KY., 5 grandchildren, Taylora Schlosser & Keith, Melody Bowling, Natasha Roberts & Marc, Riley Hendrix & Brittany & Trey Hendrix, 5 great-grandchildren, Will, Colton, Taylor Rae, Clay & Colby. Also a host of nieces, nephews other relatives & friends survive. FUNERAL: Wednesday, March 18, 2015 @ 1:00 P.M. at the Dwayne Walker Funeral Home, Hyden, KY.
