The obituary of Mr. Cecil Dixon Mr. Cecil Dixon born September 2, 1929 of departed this life on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at his residence. He was 85 years old. Cecil was born at Wooton, Ky., the son of the late Sheridan & Laura Dixon. Cecil had a very distinguished career as an educator. He taught 30 years in the classroom & served 14 years as an administrator with the Leslie Co. Board of Education. Cecil was affiliated with the Wooton Presbyterian Church EPC, Wooton, Ky. He was a member of the KEA & the Wooton Lions Club. Mr. Cecil Dixon was preceded in death by his parents; Sheridan Dixon & Laura Dixon, one daughter; Delana Kay Dixon Burge, granddaughter; Courtney Paige Campbell, three brothers; Raleigh, Seldon & Marcus Dixon. Mr. Cecil Dixon leaves the following relatives surviving: his loving and devoted wife, Norma Sue Lewis Dixon of Wooton, one son; Larry C. Dixon & wife, Marlene, of Wooton, Ky., one daughter; Deborah Turner of Wooton, Ky., one son-in-law; Jasper Burge of Wooton, Ky., three grandsons; Christopher Todd Dixon, Chester Brian Scott Dixon, Jared Turner, & three whom he called his grandchildren; Mason Shabdue, Skyla Brock, Cheyenne Burge & one great-granddaughter; Sophia Breanna Kay Dixon, along with a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
