The Obituary of Mrs. Mary Ruth Saylor Mrs. Mary Ruth Saylor born July 13, 1940 departed this life on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Medical Center, Hazard, Ky. She was 74 years old. Mary Ruth was born at Gray's Knob in Harlan Co., the daughter of the late Mack Johnson and Dorothy Still. Mary Ruth was employed in the cafeteria & food services division of the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital, Harlan, Ky. Mary Ruth was affiliated with the Pentecostal Church and enjoyed flower gardening, her cats, cooking and walking. Mary Ruth was a life -long resident of Harlan & Leslie Co., with the exception of living in Missouri for a few years. Mrs. Mary Ruth Saylor was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; Mack Johnson & one sister; Phyllis Johnson. Mrs. Mary Ruth Saylor leaves the following relatives surviving: her beloved daughter: Mary Ann Kirby and husband, Chad of Mozelle, Ky., two step-sons; Troy Lee Saylor and wife, Renee of Bledsoe, Ky., Cecil Wayne Saylor and wife, Beatrice of Bledsoe, Ky., two brothers: Fred Johnson of Harlan, Ky., Bo Johnson of Indiana, three sisters; Penny Lawrence of Montana, Gloria Stapleton of Indiana, Lois Childers of Ohio. six grandchildren; Hunter, Andrea, LeAnn, Tyler, Abigail, & Larry, along with a host of other treasured relatives and friends.
