She passed away at her residence on Tuesday, December 16, 2014 at the age of 58 years & 22 days. Kay was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., by Occupation she was a FNP & had worked for Grace Community Clinic at Wooton, KY. She had received her Bachelors Degree at Eastern Kentucky University, her Masters of Nursing Degree at the University of Kentucky & her Accreditation as a Licensed Family Nurse Practioner at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. She was a Member of the Wooton Presbyterian Church (EPC) at Wooton, KY. She served as a Board Member for the Leslie Co. Health Dept. She loved her dogs: Bubby & Maddy, traveling & watching movies. Delana Kay Dixon Burge was preceded in death by a Daughter, Courtney Paige Campbell. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Jasper Burge of Wooton, KY., her beloved parents: Cecil & Sue Lewis Dixon of Wooton, KY., Daughter, Cheyenne Burge, Wooton, KY., Brother, Larry "Bear" Dixon of Wooton, KY., Sister, Deborah Turner of Wooton, KY., Nephews, Christopher Todd Dixon, Chester Brian Scott Dixon, Jared Turner & a host of other treasured relatives & friends also survive. FUNERAL: Sunday, December 21, 2014 @ 6:00 P.M. at the Wooton Presbyterian Church (EPC), Wooton, KY.
