She passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014 at the Tri-Cities Nursing & Rehab Center in Cumberland, KY., at the age of 83 years, 6 months & 6 days. She was a life-long resident of Harlan & Leslie Co., She was a member of the Little Laurel Bible Church. Ava enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening & canning. Ava Witt was preceded in death by her parents, Lillie & Mary Blevins Williams, loving & devoted husband, Charlie Witt, son, Frank Witt, daughter, Teresa Witt, grand-daughter, Ava Nicole Witt, 3 brothers & 5 sisters. She leaves the following relatives surviving, sons, Johnny Witt & Brenda, Big Laurel, KY., Charlie Witt, Jr. & Jamie, Speedwell, Tenn. & Jesse Witt & Ann, Bledsoe, KY., daughters, Francis Manners & Chris, Huntsville, Ala., Barbara Smith, Harlan, KY., Sue Miniard & Steve, Harlan, KY., Lisa Chappell & Ken, Bunker, Missouri, Joy Wilson & Larry, Corbin, KY. & Mary Caldwell, Stoney Fork, Ky., sisters, Nancy Collett & Jay, Cumberland, KY., Ona Cury & Bill, Brookside, KY. & Callie Creech, St. Clair, Michigan, 18 grandchildren & 25 great-grandchildren also survive.
