Daniel "Wormy" Morgan

Daniel L. "Wormy" Morgan, 67, of Scottsville, KY died at 12:40 p.m. Sunday, October 26, 2014 at his residence. The Hyden, KY native was a former employee of Codell Construction and Smith Interiors, a former coach at Fred Hale Ball Park, a U. S. Navy veteran of Viet Nam and member of Rockhouse Baptist Church and 181 Operators Union. He was the son of the late Leon Morgan and Bertha Farley Morgan. He is survived by 1 son: Hoby Morgan and wife, Brandy, Edmonton, KY; 1 daughter: Misty Morgan, Tompkinsville, KY; 1 sister: Sue Begley and husband, James, Lebanon, TN; 2 grandchildren: Bailey Scott and Addison Morgan; 1 niece: Deana Douglas and husband, Todd, Bowling Green, KY; 1 nephew: Jamie Begley and wife, Jackie, Lebanon, TN; 3 great nieces: Ally Douglas, Avery Douglas and Isabelle Begley; and Special Friends: Joey and Mike Blankenship and Families, Scottsville, KY. Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Goad Funeral Home with burial in Crescent Hill Cemetery with military honors by Glasgow DAV Chapter 20. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday at Goad Funeral Home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of donations to Glasgow DAV Chapter 20. Donations may be made at Goad Funeral Home.
