Lela Knuckles

Lela Knuckles, 67 of Harlan passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at the Harlan ARH Hospital in Harlan, KY. She was born at Beverly, KY the daughter of the late Elige Brock and the late Hallie Brock. By occupation Lela was a homemaker and had been a life-long resident of Leslie County with the exception of having lived in Harlan for the past 14 years. Lela was a member of the Middlefork United Methodist Church and enjoyed going to church. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening and shopping. Lela was preceded in death by her parents: Elige and Hallie Brock, two sisters: Freda Brock and Brenda Brock, two brothers: Riley Brock and Stevie Brock. She leaves surviving the following relatives: daughter: Brenda Asher & husband Bob of Warbranch, KY, brother: Harold Brock & Sharon of Warbranch, KY, three sisters: Stella Short & Pearl, Jr. of Warbranch, KY, Phyllis Watson & Dwight of Warbranch, Ky, and Eva Couch & Stanley of Corbin, KY, two grandchildren: Hobert and Blake Asher.
