He passed away on Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center, Hazard, Ky at the age of 92 years, 0 months & 9 days. Chrisley was a Veteran of World War II having served honorably in the United States Army. By occupation He was a retired coal miner & farmer. Chisley was a member of the Church of Christ. He enjoyed farming & spending time with his family. Chrisley was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., residing at Cutshin Road, Smilax, Kentucky at the time of his death. Chrisley was preceded in death by his parents: Dewey & Rebecca Pennington Gross, Brothers: Henry P., Willard, Morgan & Johnie Gross, Infant Brother: Purl, Sisters: Mallie Pennington, Parlee Witt, Infant Sister: Jenny, Sister-In-Law: Daisy Gross & Brother-In-Laws: Elmer Witt, Bruce Woods, Bob Harris & Ray Pennington.
