Ward of 76 Slate Drive, Mozelle, KY., was born on May 13, 1939 in Leslie Co., Ky., the daughter of the late Felix North & the late Effie Nolan North. Chesna passed away on Friday, September 26, 2014 at her residence, at the age of 75 years, 4 months & 13 days. Chesna was a homemaker, a devoted member for 40 years of the Mozelle Pentecostal Church at Mozelle, KY. & was a life-long resident of Leslie Co. She enjoyed gardening, canning, reading spending time with her family & going to Church. Chesna A. Ward was preceded in death by her parents: Felix & Effie Nolan North, her husband: Bobby Joe Ward, 2 children: Winston & Gilda & 1 grandchild: Brandy She leaves the following relatives surviving: 3 sons: Terry Lynn Ward & Patricia, Mozelle, KY., Hylo Ward, Warbranch, KY. & Roy Lee Hall & Sheila, Mozelle, KY., 2 daughters: Rose Ethel Nantz & Gary, Mozelle, KY. & Vina Joann Dutton & William Paul, Mozelle, KY., 1 sister: Mary Rose Adams & Henry Scott, Baltimore, MD., 15 grandchildren: Lisa, Misty, Tyler, Travis, Carissa, Terrance, Amanda, Valerie, Daniel, Nicole, Erica, William, Emily, Freddie, Whitney, Kelly, Julie & Trenton, 17 great-grandchildren & 1 great-great grandchild. Also a host of other relatives & friends survive. FUNERAL:Sunday, September 28, 2014 @ 2:00 P.M. at the Mozelle Pentecostal Church, Mozelle, KY. MINISTERS:Rev. Logan Roberts & Rev.
