The Obituary for Mrs. Oma Baker Shepherd Officiating Ministers: Paul Baker, Bill Evans & Russell Baker Mrs. Oma Baker Shepherd of 112 Second Fork Rd., Wooton, KY. was born on September 22, 1925, in Wooton, KY., the daughter of the late, Chris Baker & the late Nannie Bell Kilburn Baker. She passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Hazard ARH Medical Center in Hazard, KY. at the age of 88 years, 11 months & 5 days. Oma was a life-long resident of Leslie Co., she was a homemaker. Oma was a devoted member of the Wooton Church of Christ, Wooton, KY. She enjoyed quilting, flower gardening, cooking, gardening & being involved in the lives of her family. Oma was preceded in death by her parents, Chris & Nannie Bell Baker, her loving & devoted husband, Kelly Shepherd, one son, David, brothers, George, Clarence, Bill, Fred & sisters, Phronia, Lula, Fannie & Polly She leaves the following relatives surviving, three sons, Jimmie Shepherd & Pam, Wooton, KY., Freddie Shepherd & Phyllis, Wooton, KY & Dennis Shepherd, Wooton, KY., two daughters, Irene Kilburn & Paul, Wooton, KY. & Geneva Shepherd, Wooton, KY., twin brother, Elmer Baker, Mississippi, five grandchildren, Shannon Shepherd & Brenda, Adrian Shepherd & Amber, Greg Kilburn, Kelly Regina Bradley & Scott & Crystal Shepherd, four great-grandchildren, Lyndsey Shepherd, Paige Shepherd, Mason Bradley & Aidan Ward Shepherd, six step-grandchildren, Brittany Maggard & Rocky, Megan Barger & Samuel, Brian Johnson & girlfriend, Katie, Wayne Colyer & Pam, Kelly Smith & Anthony & Devenia Colyer & three step-great-grandchildren, Kayleigh Jo, Kennedy Faith & Aubrey.
